Cape Town Tourism officially accredited for 2010 today
Cape Town Routes Unlimited (CTRU), the official destination marketing organisation for Cape Town and the Western Cape will accredit Cape Town Tourism (CTT), today, Friday, 11 September 2009.
According to section 9 of the Western Cape Tourism Act, Act 1 of 2004, the destination marketing organisation is mandated to accredit all local tourism associations or any similar tourism organisations established or recognised by municipalities. Accreditation of these tourism organisations ensures that international operating standards are adhered to. CTRU's CEO, Calvyn Gilfellan, will hand over the official certification to CTT CEO, Mariette du Toit-Helmbold.
The media are invited to attend the ceremony, today at 3pm at the Ray Alexander Boardroom, 6th Floor Podium Block, Civic Centre, Cape Town.
