Community Chest Carnival returns
The Community Chest Carnival is back at Maynardville Park, Wynberg, Cape Town, from 30 March to 2 April, 2016. All the old favourites have been revived for those who were there for the good old days, but it's also in with the new: gourmet food trucks, wine tasting, craft beers, and phenomenal rides.
This annual charity fair will take place over four days. You can sample foods from around the world and experience top-notch entertainment including a pop-up cinema, live music, school big bands, and more.
Opening times are:
• Wednesday, 30 March: 4pm to 11pm
• Thursday, 31 March: 4pm to 11pm
• Friday, 1 April: 4pm to 11pm
• Saturday, 2 April: 10am to 11pm.
• Tickets: R50 - Adults, R30 - children under 18. Pensioners receive complimentary access throughout the course of the event.
