Medical team fixing Habana

"Bryan is our only significant injury problem and, although he's done quite well in terms of his recovery over the last two days, we'll only be able to make a call on his fitness later in the week," Dr Craig Roberts said.

Because of Habana's injury Peter de Villiers has postponed the team's selection until Wednesday for Saturday's match against the All Blacks.

"The injury has caused new plans for the week, it has not done us a favour. But I am so glad that I am the coach of this team and not part of the medical team. They have a really tough week ahead of them and they deserve a hand because they are keeping these players going from the first week of the British and Irish Lions series to now," De Villiers said.

For next Saturday all the Boks need is two points against New Zealand - that's four tries. The loss against Australia at the weekend humbled the “invincible” South African rugby team. We can't always play perfect rugby, and we can't win every match. But the Boks is a team of experienced players, each with enough experience to put this loss behind them and go on to win the Tri-Nations this coming Saturday. Habana would be an advantage with his pace and ball skills. Another bonus is that the New Zealand team is faced with more injuries to its team than the Boks.

So, this coming Saturday the Springbok team has one more chance to prove again that it is the best in the world.
