Neo Africa Helps Boxer to IBF Junior Lightweight Championship

The Neo Africa Group through its event management, communications and PR division Neo Innovations has announced the sponsorship of four top notch, internationally rated South African boxers, one of whom is competing for a championship belt this month.

Malcolm "The Stone" Klassen from Toekomsrus , sponsored by Neo Africa, will face off with Cassius "Hit Man" Baloyi from Giyani this coming Saturday 18 April 2009 for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Junior Lightweight title.

The match will take place at Northwest University's Mafikeng campus Saturday 18 April, and will be televised at 21:30 on SABC 2's "Blow by Blow".

Apart from the Neo Africa Group of companies event arm Neo Innovations, Neo Africa comprises five further divisions: Neo Solutions, a niche consulting and project management business focusing on public sector contracts which is supported by Pcubed, an information technology solutions company. Neo Odyssey is a travel and concierge service which is a feeder for Pcubed Exotica, an exotic car rental, branding and chauffeur services company, as well as Pcubed Aviation, a flight academy and aviation charter business.

Commenting on the decision to choose boxing as a sponsorship beneficiary, Vivien Natasen, Neo Africa CEO: says "For strategic as

Also, the demands of professional boxing - the rigour required for success - is emblematic of our own work ethic."

The remaining boxers benefiting from Neo Africa's sponsorship are Evans Mbamba, Silence Mabuza and Isaac Hlatswayo.

Adds Natasen: "We are excited that two South African fighters have made it to compete in our beautiful country for a world title and wish Malcolm the best in establishing himself as the world number one IBF Junior Lightweight title holder. This bout should be an excellent exhibit of the quality of South African boxers and for our country as a whole!"
