Sunshine Saturdays kick-off with Zebra & Giraffe, The Dirty Skirts

A series of six concerts, in the new open-air concert series, starting on 12 December and finishing on 20 February, will be held at Wynberg Boys High School.

The organiser of Sunshine Saturdays, Jon Stephenson of Go Entertainment commented: “Sunshine Saturdays will offer something for everyone: from families to varsity and school-goers, we have selected a varied range of performers to appeal to all. We hope to establish this as a regular highlight on Cape Town's annual calendar.”

  • Zebra & Giraffe and Dirty Skirts: 12 December
  • Prime Circle: 19 December
  • Watershed: 6 February
  • Kurt Darren: 13 February
  • Johnny Clegg: 20 February

Gates will open at 2.30pm and the first act will start at 3.30 with the main act following at 5pm. The concerts end at 6.30 and the beer tent will be open until 7.30pm.

Tickets are R100 pre-booked through Computicket or R120 at the gate. Children under 12 pay R50 and those under three get in for free. Food and drinks will be on sale at the venue. Wine and beer will be sold in the beer tent but cannot be brought in.
