Hella helping protect rhinos

As part of the Forever Wild campaign, managed by the Wilderness Foundation in South Africa to protect rhinos, Hella Automotive South Africa has fitted auxiliary lights to six anti-poaching Volkswagen South Africa sponsored Amarok vehicles used throughout the country.

This announcement was made at the launch of a rhino protection awareness campaign at Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, South Africa late last week.

According to Hella managing director, Lars Beaujean, the campaign fits into the multi-national's corporate social responsibility programme. "The company recognises the need to address and assist in anti-poaching initiatives at ground level in South Africa. Rangers require good all round night vision and we are pleased that we can make a contribution in the fight against illegal rhino horn trading."
