Loudfire seeks new staff for thriving Joburg operation

Party and event production company Loudfire is interviewing for two additional Creative, Sales and Event Production Specialists for its thriving Johannesburg office.
This need to increase its senior creative staff complement, mirrors the sustained growth the company has experienced in both its Johannesburg and Cape Town operations, over the past year. In addition, Loudfire, whose slogan ‘designer entertaining for your brand’ encapsulates its focus on creating one-off original parties and events that match experiences to brands and objectives, recently added another two operational offices to its growing footprint in Southern Africa, one in Durban and another in Livingstone, Zambia.

Loudfire CEO, Bruce van Halderen, says the company is looking for high level, senior staff whose energy, passion, creativity and motivation are matched by their integrity, honesty, kindness and generosity.

He explains: “Our company values best describe who we are as a company, and underpin everything that we do as a collective. As a result, these are the first qualities we look for in interview candidates, because ultimately our success depends on shared commitment to these values of: honesty and integrity, respect, kindness and generosity, responsibility and accountability, and ownership and commitment.”

Apart from shared values, van Halderen says another key quality that Loudfire is looking for, is that rare ability to be innovative by instinct and habit, rather than by necessity or design. Among the other attributes that would benefit the super-humans who will join its creative, sales and event production team, are: discipline; a high level of computer literacy; the ability to work long hours under enormous pressure; and the willingness to travel countrywide at the drop of a hat.

Van Halderen concludes, with a laugh: “I know people think we’re looking for the holy grail in human form, but I have tremendous belief in people and their potential. In truth, I think these qualities are inherent in every human being. We’re just looking for two people who have uncovered these attributes in themselves and want a platform from which to explore their full potential.”
