Nominations for Women in the Media broadens categories
The August issue of The Media magazine will feature the 2013 Women in Media awards and this year the categories have been extended to encourage more nominations of women who have changed the roles and status of women around them, influenced business plans, content and legislation.
The industry, past winners, mentors and media leaders are encouraged to send in a 100-200 word nomination, plus short CV, of lifetime achievers, rising stars or women at the peak of their career.
Nominations must be in by 31 May 2013 for collation, when the editorial board, as judges, will choose the winners in each segment.
