South magazine, now a year old, has celebrated with a redesign, website and a new creative team. The Garden Route and Klein Karoo quarterly business and lifestyle guide has appointed former freelancers Liesl Hattingh and Sean Robertson as editor and art director respectively.

The website offers an opportunity for amateur and professional photographers to enter the magazine's newly launched competition for iconic Garden Route and Klein Karoo images, offering an Olympus PEN E-PL1 and four three-day courses by Knysna's photographer Ian Fleming, as prizes.

The Spring 2010 edition, out now, features winemaker Jantjie Jonker from Jakkalsvlei boutique estate near Herbertsdale.
