In response to TVPlus readers' requests for more puzzles, TVPlusPuzzles, a stand-alone, bi-monthly magazine filled with 96 games and puzzles (including crosswords, word searches, Sudoku and kids' games) launches on 1 September 2010. In addition to the games in each issue, the magazine also profiles a major star in each issue and gives readers the chance to win some prizes.
"A brand extension like this gives us the opportunity to provide our readers with an entertainment product they have been asking for," says Willem Breytenbach, publisher of Media24's Family Magazine Division. "We need to leverage the success of the TVPlus brand by publishing extensions. In September, we will also launch TVPlus' Soapie Star Recipes. The magazine also has a mobile website, at m.tvplus.co.za."
