A compleat success!

Compleat Golfer's first-ever Festival of Golf, held at the Vodacom World of Golf early in May, was an "unqualified success, drawing in excess of 8000 enthusiastic golfers", according to the magazine's National Business Manager, Simon Turck.

The event brought together more than 100 golf-related brands, from equipment manufacturers and suppliers to clothing manufacturers, golf estate developments, education and training facilities and other services. It incorporated sampling and shopping opportunities with practice facilities, coaching tips by professionals, entertainment and the prospect of winning great prizes.
 
The objective was both to offer Compleat Golfer advertisers a platform to showcase their products and to provide a comprehensive one-stop expo for golf enthusiasts, in the process growing the Compleat Golfer brand and developing a relationship with its readers beyond the medium of print.
 
"We have clearly established a solid platform on which to grow the show and we are confident the Compleat Golfer Festival of Golf will quickly become one of the biggest events on the Gauteng show calendar," said Turck.
