Touchline launches custom publishing division

Touchline Media has expanded its custom publishing offerings to form the Special Projects division, it announced yesterday, Thursday, 30 August 2007. Headed up by publisher Paul Ingpen, the division partners with brands to develop customer-centric communication tools which reinforce brand positioning and grow customer loyalty.

Special Projects will also cater for corporates and agencies which are interested in once-off publications, as well as Touchline Media's group supplements.

The new 14-strong division has a dedicated, innovative team supported by editors Sonya Schoeman, Gus Silber and Greg Eden, who all bring a wealth of experience to the products that they conceptualise and manage.

Says Paul Ingpen: “More than 15 years of successful consumer publishing has instilled an obsession in the Touchline team for creating compelling content for discerning readers. This heritage, combined with our large client base and a highly developed production infrastructure, made the natural progression into custom publishing an obvious business development.

With a cluttered newsstand, distribution is under pressure, so the opportunity to reach new markets is exciting. Plus, there are some obvious gaps for high-quality, content-driven offerings. We look forward to creating additional innovative products for partners who share our business ethics and customer-driven orientation”

Current clients in the stable include British Airways, Discovery, MTN, Sanlam Private Investments, the Proudly South African Campaign and Protea Hotels.
