New township magazine on the block
Soweto Homes & Property magazine is a recently launched, free knock-and-drop magazine under the helm of publisher and managing editor Brian Mahlangu. "This is long overdue for the community of Soweto and we believe that it is one of the best things to come out that is unashamedly black and proud of its home owners and property practitioners," says Mahlangu.
The lifestyle-driven magazine has its core focus on delivery of relevant news and information that will fulfil the following objectives:
- Inform and educate township residents on housing and property
- Enhance pride of the owner, tenant and future generations by showing off the best of what proud residents can achieve with limited resources
- Increase and introduce sales of housing and property related goods and services.
The target market consists of proud township residents who own, rent or aspire to both, career seekers wanting more information, and business owners seeking to expand service offerings.
Soweto Homes & Property launched in September 2006 at the Absa Soweto Festival with a print run of 30 000 copies. The minimum number of pages per issue is 32.
