New Spring Show for Tshwane
Hanlie Delport, of Siyakula Events, brings her extensive experience of the show and her institutional memory of the event, as well as a focus on the exhibition. She says, "the exhibitors will benefit from the integrated team approach to the project due to the focus on enhancing the experience of visitors."
Pieter Swart, CMP, CMM of Conference Consultancy South Africa adds, "Planning and co-ordinating events is a sophisticated and dynamic process, driven by innovative people and modern technology. The event planner today is required to consolidate strategic planning with operational implementation in a holistic approach to achieve the desired objectives and highest level of impact from the lowest possible logistical expense, without compromising on quality or efficiency."
Repositioning show
One of the first strategic actions implemented by the project team is to reposition the show as 'The Spring Show', as the show spans Spring Day. The team will leverage the branding of the show to reflect this time of rejuvenation. The show will grow its focus on agriculture and commercial exhibitions, enhanced with a renewed interest in educational displays and opportunities for learners. The whole show will be integrated into a festival of family entertainment with an atmosphere ensuring a focus on delivering a fun filled day out for the entire family.
