Robertson Wine on the River festival
Bookings are open for the Robertson Wine on the River taking place over the weekend of 15 - 17 October 2010, on the banks of the Breede River at the riverside farm Goudmyn, situated on R317 between Robertson and Bonnievale.
Visitors can taste more than 300 wines from over 40 wineries, while listening to live jazz, ballads and blues. While wine tasting is the order of the day, there will be gastronomic delights from country food stalls, the riverside restaurant, the Robertson Farmers' Market and more.
Tutored chardonnay tastings will be on offer in the Chardonnay Tent, and other popular attractions will include river cruises, arts and crafts from the Valley, children's activities and competition prizes.
