SA companies can no longer afford to ignore extended producer responsibility

It is important for one week a year to concentrate on how green we are at work and how greener we can be, because it's at work that we spend most of our life and therefore that's where we can make a significant amount of our lifetime healthier and better.
Ana-Maria Valente of Dictum Publishers, the organisation that launched this national initiative three years ago, adds, "It's because everyone can make a difference to the predicament we find ourselves in over our generation's heavy carbon footprint. If we get into a green mind-set at the office, it's highly likely that mind-set will travel home."
The theme for the week in 2012 is 'You make a difference' with each day of the week having a special green focus.
