With its sponsor, Spur Steak Ranches, it will conduct nation-wide tours to promote the competition from August to October, which has a new design to attract more entrants and an increased prize value of over R100 000.
From the 12 finalists, selected by the judges, the winner receives a camera from Nikon, a holiday at the Madikwe Game Reserve, and is entered into the National Geographic International Photography Contest where he or she could win a trip to Washington, DC.
