Good Hope FM goes online

Good Hope FM has taken a 360-degree approach and extended its reach beyond the airwaves to become more than just a radio station by launching last week its online and mobile television platform, in partnership with Zoopy.com, as another media extension of the brand.

At its core, the station is a content creator and through this partnership, it has now moved into the realm of visual experiences.

"The idea behind Good Hope FM TV is that we show listeners what we're up to and what we experience everyday," says station manager, Natano Brache, "we take pride in being the first South African radio station to launch such a platform on the Zoopy site."

The TV show will include a range of content including Knob's World, You've Been Cooked, Slice of the Good Life, This is How We Roll and In Studio. It has also opened a Zoopy channel, which will house all general videos, photos and audio related to the station, along with user-generated content from time to time.

"Between the TV show and channel, fans are able to enjoy a richer entertainment experience, with content that gives them never-before-seen footage from inside and around the Cape's favourite radio station. Best of all, listeners will also be able to watch and interact with the shows from wherever they are, whenever they like, thanks to the full mobile versions of the show and channel," says Zoopy CEO, Jason Elk.

Good Hope FM TV will also be integrated onto the Good Hope FM website in the near future. The show can be watched online at www.zoopy.com/tv/goodhopefm or via mobile at http://m.zoopy.com/tv/goodhopefm and the channel is on www.zoopy.com/channels/goodhopefm.
