Inspired by the company’s pioneering approach to storytelling, The Wire aims to give its audience a rare insight into the constant evolution of Africa’s creative landscape. Through exclusive interviews, in-depth profiling, behind-the-scenes reporting, studio visits and a constant ear on the ground, it will give exposure and a voice to innovative influencers and brands.

“As a frontrunner in influencer marketing, CSA understands the way in which consumers interact with brands on a digital level, so it felt only natural to add a digital platform that can connect our audience with established and emerging talent. What is exciting is that the site is not bound by geo-location, giving it the means to shift perspectives without borders and the ability to take the African conversation global,” says CSA director Davin Phillips.

Since its inception, it has crossed borders into Ghana and Kenya to Nigeria and Uganda to discover and celebrate the continent’s biggest names in entertainment. Locally, it has built relationships with award-winning artists including Euphonik, AKA, Petit Noir, Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest and entertainers such as Boity, Nomuzi Moozlie Mabena, and Moonchild Sanelle.

The site has premiered ground-breaking artists series, including countless Q&As with South Africa’s graffiti legends Falko One and Faith47, internationally acclaimed fine artists Lady Skollie and Kristin-Lee Moolman, award-winning designers Laduma Ngxokolo and Albertus Swanepoel and prolific bloggers Aisha Baker and Lulama Wolf.

In line with the company’s ability to leverage off various platforms and established relationships, The Wire will open up further opportunity for artists to connect with other influential creatives and brands for exciting collaborations. For more information, click here.
