More property industry courses from Kgodisa Training Academy
Following its success with SETA-accredited training for the recently introduced Facilities and Property Management diploma, an NQF level 4 qualification, Kgodisa Training Academy is to offer additional courses for the property industry.
Thea Bezuidenhout, director of Kgodisa, which is part of Excellerate Property Services, says, "Our aim is to be a fully-fledged training academy primarily focused on the development of human resources in the property industry in South Africa. We will be launching additional courses for Cleaning and Hygiene at NQF 1 and NQF 2 level.
"The demand for the above courses is not only from those already involved in the property industry who are seeking to further their careers and achieve personal growth, but also from a broad cross-section of people from various backgrounds who are seeking to enter the industry.
"It's gratifying that this year's intake includes six delegates who have received sponsorship for the Facilities and Property Management diploma from companies within the property industry. Kgodisa Training Academy has sponsored Patrick Mataranyika, whose passion is to become qualified and excel in the property industry, while JHI Properties, which is also a member of Excellerate Property Services, has sponsored Eshara Naidoo, who is employed as a lease administrator at JHI Properties in KwaZulu-Natal. A further four students, Samuel Lephuting, Celia Mhlala, Robert Wilson and Richard Felisberto have been sponsored by Fortress Income Fund.
"The delegates are highly motivated and enthusiastic about having the opportunity to enter and further themselves in the property industry," she concludes.
