Somerset Mall, where fashion meets files
Style and stationery are on the lips of shoppers in Somerset West, as international fashion outlet Cotton On prepares for the launch of its well-known stationery and gifting store Typo, in conjunction with the reopening of its clothing store at Somerset Mall on 13 March 2015.
Typo is known for stocking fun, quirky and quality products and injecting fashion into the classics to create something unexpected. It has everything needed to fill a space with personality, as a one-stop concept store filled with gift ideas, fashionable stationery, room decor and other items.
Improvements to the new store include housing collections from Cotton On and Cotton on Body. The stable of the group brands will continue to deliver on-trend basics and fun affordable fashion that South Africans have come to know and love. Further recognition continued at the Sunday Times Generation Next Awards, which saw the youth of South Africa name the group as one of the Top 10 'coolest clothing stores' of 2014.
The first Cotton On store opened in 1991 and now has over 1300 stores in 16 countries. It began trading in South Africa in 2011 and recently celebrated the launch of its 100th store, which is located at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
