KitchenAid showroom launched in partnership with Reuben Riffel
'KitchenAid' by Maryke & Reuben opened earlier this week in Franschhoek to a warm reception by media and friends in the culinary industry. This is the first stand-alone KitchenAid retail space on the African continent and is situated adjacent to the original Reuben's Restaurant in Franschhoek within the courtyard.
The business union between the Riffels and KitchenAid Africa took place earlier this year when Maryke took Reuben's KitchenAid Mixer for a service to KitchenAid Africa in Cape Town.
The boutique showroom and shop showcases the 95-year old iconic 'mother of all mixers' brand in 30 colours and its the complete range of appliances currently available in Africa. Adopting the range's global 2014 motto, "The harder they work, the better they look," the showroom is managed by Maryke Riffel and the staff of Reuben's Restaurant and will be open to the public from Tuesdays to Sundays, 9am to 5pm.
