In January 2010, Ehrenberg Kommunikation, founded by Magnus Ehrenberg in Sweden in 1993,
acquired 25% of Rosemary Hare Public Relations, established by local consultant
Rosemary Hare in Cape Town in 1983. Now, the two have merged to form Hare & Ehrenberg Communications.
The new company offers PR expertise in tourism, fashion and lifestyle, pharmaceutical industry, local and provincial government and real estate.
Ehrenberg's love for South Africa has taken him to the country many times and resulted in public relations campaigns in Northern Europe for, among others, Sun International and Rovos Rail.
Hare's clients have included the provincial administration of the Western Cape, the City of Cape Town and the Swedish manufacturer of quality shirts, Stenströms. She was also involved in launching, sponsorship and management of products, sports and special events for Warner Lambert and Parke-Davis.
She has also been chairperson of PRISA Western Cape and the Public Relations Advisory Committee of the Cape University of Technology and she has won business awards such as the Absa Business Woman of the Year.
