New look McDonald's for Port Elizabeth

On Friday 13 April 2012, McDonald's opened its reimaged Port Elizabeth beachfront restaurant. Described as a more suave and sophisticated venue that will appeal to a broader audience, it has added the region's first McCafé, which gives customers the choice of quality hot and cold beverages and a variety of cakes and snacks, in addition to the menu.

"The group has been in South Africa since 1995 and many of our customers have grown up with us. Today, they are looking for a more sophisticated offering and we are delighted to provide them with more choice and more reasons to visit," said Sechaba Motsieloa, director of corporate affairs.
