Domino's has launched an incentive program to get all of its stores to upgrade their technology by 2010. It says reliance on more sophisticated IT systems helps it get pizzas delivered faster, and online sales produce more sales per order than food bought in-store.
Fast food chain Domino's Pizza has specifically pointed to IT investment as one of the key factors behind the firm's 15 percent sales growth to more than US$55 million.
The delivery company says the introduction of real-time technology and online ordering has been responsible for strong performance in the first half of the year.
