In memoriam: Alastair McClarty

Alastair's love for nature and all creatures was very special and a knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of D.I.Y made Alastair vital in both productions.

His life was abruptly ended by a taxi driver driving with disregard for the rules of the road - another senseless death in South Africa that could have been avoided if only more respect had been given.

The funeral will be on Thursday, 11am at the Ebenezer Christian Fellowship.

Mourners are requested not to send flowers, as Alastair has always believed that they are better left in the wild. Instead, Alastair requested that donations be sent to the abused wild animals shelter FREE ME in Fourways:

Directions for the funeral are as follows:
Get onto Main Road in Bryanston, go past Lonehill suburb on your left, past Leeukop Prison on your right. Turn left into Macgillary Road. The church is on the corner of Macgillary and Main Road in Glennferness.
