SA-produced commercial takes gold at Mobius Awards

Acknowledging creative excellence worldwide, the Mobius Awards recently awarded Suburban’s American Express, ‘My life. My card.’ campaign first place in the Technique: Art Direction category. The commercial, directed by Miles Goodall, was crafted specifically for Australia as part an American Express marketing initiative to grow this area of their business.

Says Goodall, “It’s terrific to have the spot recognised on the world stage. It was a great experience working with Collette Dinnigan, who trusted in me and gave an effortless performance. The success of this ad is based on the collaborative passion and vision of all involved.”

Collette Dinnigan, a leading Australian fashion designer and world-renowned couturier, features in the commercial, allowing Goodall to bring her visual sources of inspiration to life. Post-production company Emerald City Design, Sydney, which entered the spot into the awards, further enhanced the spot under Goodall’s direction.
