Finding the purr-fect nutritional fit

International brand, Perfect Fit, which has now launched in South Africa, uses insights into pet behaviour to formulate products to fit cats' nutritional requirements through different ages and stages. This new brand was developed in close cooperation with Waltham, a world leader in pet care and nutrition, and embraces the concept that each cat has specific dietary needs according to their age and lifestyle.

Each cat has distinctive qualities that make it special, and Perfect Fit aims to look after each cat's individual needs with its dry pellet range comprising Active (in chicken or fish flavour), Junior and Senior.

Many cats are spirited adventurers who are always jumping down from places and darting off in search of something new. Movement will be a constant factor, which is why Perfect Fit Active Chicken and Fish aims to ensure that their spine is flexible by the added quality of calcium and phosphorous.

The balanced nutrition in Perfect Fit Junior aids the growth of kittens into strong healthy cats. When they start approaching their golden years though, the senior option will help them maintain healthy joints with the added glucosamine.

Emphasis is placed on providing high quality protein and fewer carbohydrates to suit the cat's dietary preferences. A 510g bag is priced at approximately R36 and a 1.4kg bag is R64 and is now available at all major supermarket chains.
