Pongrácz launches noble Brut Rosé
Pongrácz, the distinctive Méthode Cap Classique inspired by Hungarian nobleman, Desiderius Pongrácz, has just launched a new addition to the family, the Brut Rosé.
“I have always wanted to create an elegant bubbly that will stand out from the rest and I am so pleased with the new Pongrácz Brut Rosé. This Cap Classique has a pleasing palate and a persistent bead leaving a lingering aftertaste urging for the next sip,” says winemaker, Elunda Basson.
This dry Rosé is an elegant Cap Classique composed in the classic French tradition of the noble varietals, Pinot noir and Chardonnay. It spent two years on the lees developing its singular character in the distinctive signature Pongrácz bottle.
The Pongrácz Brut Rosé sells at around R98.00 at leading liquor outlets.
