German cough syrup now available in South Africa

The remedy is a triple action cough syrup that liquefies thick mucus, opens up constricted airways and calms coughing. It is claimed to combat the typical complaints of bronchitis (increased formation of viscous mucus, shortness of breath and irritation of the throat) and calm, but not block troublesome and painful coughing. Not blocking coughing is important as it allows the individual to cough up the mucus and thereby allow for trouble-free deep breathing. The remedy is said to be extremely well-tolerated and may be combined with other medicines as it has no known interactions and is sugar-free, alcohol-free and colourant-free and is suitable for use in diabetics, infants as well as competitive athletes.
