Reuben Riffel to open restaurant in Paternoster

Abalone House, described as Paternoster's only 5-star boutique guesthouse, will be opening a Reuben's restaurant in time for the Cape's summer season. Reuben Riffel, celebrated chef and TV celebrity will serve strong local West Coast themed food.

Riffel began his career in Franschhoek in the first years of the new millennium, moved to Robertson and then at the One&Only in Cape Town. He has appeared on local TV, done advertising endorsements, interviews on the Today Show and the Martha Stewart Show in the US and authored two recipe books.
