SA Product of the Year award winners
The winners of South Africa's first Product of the Year awards were announced on Thursday, 29 January 2009 at a gala ceremony that took place at Midrand's Vodadome.
Of the total 33 categories, Unilever took nine of the 13 categories it was nominated for; L'Oreal walked away with five awards based in the hair and beauty categories; while Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly Clark all won two categories apiece.
Other winners included the likes of Cadburys, Clover, GlaxoSmithKline, Nestle and Parmalat.
