eBucks for farmers

South African farmers can now earn eBucks on the purchases they make with the recently launched First National Bank Agri Purchasing Card.

Farmers can pay for goods and services at approved agricultural suppliers with the FNB Agri Purchasing card and earn eBucks in the process. They can then spend the eBucks they have earned on any of the rewards that the program offers its members.

The program's CEO, Lezanne Human, said: "The rewards industry has historically not been very active in the agricultural sector and we feel that we are ideally suited to offer rewards to this market. This offering is an extension of our eBucks for Business program that has grown from strength to strength since it was launched in June 2005."

The card is available to FNB agricultural cheque or pre-plan crop finance account holders who have elected to join eBucks for Business. FNB is the first commercial bank in the country to offer farmers a rewards program linked to supply purchases.

Farmers can request a FNB Agri Purchasing Card to be issued and registered with eBucks at their local branch. Alternatively, they may contact eBucks on 086 123 3000 or visit the website http://www.eBucks.com.
