From humble beginnings in 1998, the company has grown into a major conduit for individuals and companies to conveniently order and deliver floral gifts throughout the country. The floral arrangements range in price from R99 to over R1,000.
Managing director Ryan Bacher attributes the company's blossoming success to its strong brand awareness, the increasing popularity of online consumerism, and improved internet bandwidth, which has sharply increased the company's ability to receive and process orders.
“With petrol price rises continually hitting people's pockets and traffic on a our roads escalating by the day, online ordering of flowers is hugely cost effective and time-saving for people,” says Bacher, whose company ensures same-day delivery if orders are placed before midday.
While special occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, Secretaries' Day, and various religious holidays are the company's busiest times, day-to-day ordering of flowers for births, hospital stays, condolences and other life events is also on the rise as more and more people become comfortable with online ordering.
“Floral arrangements are the core of our business, but we are increasingly branching out into other gifts as there is growing online demand for this service,” added Bacher. These include a range of hampers, wine, pens and watches, magazines, fruit and nuts, confectionary, jewellery and household items.
