INMA Global Media Summit Africa adds German, Canadian speakers
The INMA Global Media Summit Africa, scheduled for 14-15 November 2016 in Cape Town, has added two more speakers to the lineup - one from Germany and one from Canada.
Pit Gottschalk, editor-in-chief, Funke Media, Germany will speak on “Reorganising editorial to leverage group needs: the case of Funke Media’. The group has centralised editorial teams as an internal content agency to save money and increase quality. Why should each newspaper create its own story about Angela Merkel? Sandy MacLeod, chief operating officer, Toronto Star, Canada will focus on ‘Business innovation and the Toronto Star.
