FSACCI's Managing Director Sophie Ferrand-Hazard says: "Brett's storyboard turned to film; an exchange of ideas between an African warrior and a French explorer captures the one vital thing keeping the relationship between France and South Africa flourishing in the international business sphere - passion.
"The lengthy and difficult judging process is testament to the talent that young South Africans have in film, animation, and multimedia. We are very proud to have run this competition and have been delighted with the results."
Design, film, animation and multimedia students between the ages of 18 to 25 were tasked with depicting their understanding of the business relationship between France and South Africa in 30sec to 2min multimedia, film or animation in QuickTime, AVI and MPEG format.
The French South African Briefs Design competition forms part of the 2005 J'adore South Africa campaign with aims to increase awareness and improve bilateral trade between South Africa and France.
