"A Taste of Sónar" presents an exciting lineup that features two key figures in today's German electronica, Modeselektor and Byetone, the French house DJ Brodinski and four of the most interesting artists working in South Africa today: Killer Robot, Das Kapital, Fletcher and BLK JKS.

But the latest addition to A Taste of Sónar at Design Indaba in Cape Town: Massive Attack (DJ set) and United Visual Artists.

Sónar is very pleased to announce a last-minute first-class addition to its line-up for A Taste of Sónar in Cape Town: a special and unique set by Massive Attack on the decks, accompanied by visuals by the prestigious British design studio United Visual Artists (UVA), all of which will be part of the Design Indaba festival activities.

This will be a special DJ set by Robert Del Naja and Daddy G, the two members of seminal British group Massive Attack, one of the most important outfits on the music scene in the last 20 years. Del Naja and G will not be alone on stage, as they will be joined by the members of UVA (United Visual Artists), creators of visuals and stage shows for, among others, Jay Z, The Chemical Brothers, Battles and of course, Massive Attack themselves.

As one can expect from a Sónar festival, the venue for "A Taste of Sónar" is an important city landmark. This is particularly true of Cape Town City Hall, the venue selected for this groundbreaking event. An impressive Edwardian-style building built in 1905 that is visible from all over the city, Cape Town City Hall is where Nelson Mandela gave his first speech after being released from prison in 1990.

Tickets are R250 each and available at Computicket.
