Coup scoops the F word

Coup, described as an online magazine, which provides an investigative look into all things media, advertising, and public relations has announced that it offers a placeholder concept that allows advertising or marketing scoops to be published as they happen.

Companies need to book space, or if the story is big enough, the magazine will create a space. It has also announced that it has created a platform for artistic contributions, known as f2 + f = fresh, funky and fantastic.

This month's scoop

This month's feature showcases the making of the new Cadbury's Glass and A Half Full Productions' ostrich ad. This feature was kept under wraps until the official ad launch, which ran across all local TV channels on Sunday night, 15 August 2010, from 7:59pm. The magazine broke the story early Monday morning.

Alternative poster

September sees the birth of the arts issue and the magazine is calling for designers to create an alternative poster for an already existing film, theatre show or arts exhibition before 31 August 2010. Submissions are welcome from creatives, artists, graphic designers, photographers, sculptors and abstract artists. Entrants are allowed to submit more than once, should note that the best works will be featured, with up to 11 spots available and only original artworks will be accepted.
