Clio awards announces internet and radio juries

NEW YORK: The complete list of 2006 Internet and Radio Juries was announced last week for the 47th annual Clio Award advertising competition. The Clio Internet Jury will be lead by executive jury chair, Rei Inamoto, who is global creative director: AKQA, San Francisco, USA. The Clio Radio Jury will be headed by executive jury chair, Terry O'Reilly, partner/writer/director at Pirate Radio & Television, Toronto, Canada. Winners in these and other Clio categories will be announced at the annual Clio Festival, held in South Beach, Miami, May 13-16, 2006.

From South Africa, the Clio Radio jury also includes: Gerry Human, Ogilvy CD and Paul Baxter, Sonovision Studios, both Jo'burg.

"Internet and Radio are very exciting categories for the Clio Awards because they are disciplines that have undergone dynamic change in the past few years," said Ami Brophy, executive director, Clio Awards. "Aside from their unique individual applications, they have both become critical components in many of today's most successful integrated marketing campaigns and are segments bursting with new forms of creative excellence."
