Outgoing president Tony Davidson will hand over the reins at the D&AD Presidents' Dinner at the Royal College of Art in London.
“Over the coming year, I want to use all of D&AD's communication channels to shine a bright creative light and share a little electricity with our members, clients and the rest of the world,” says Simon Waterfall. “I'm really looking forward to bringing more of D&AD's amazing content to a wider audience.”
“Throughout D&AD's 45-year history, presidents have come from the traditional advertising and design worlds,” says Davidson. “Simon's election acknowledges the huge influence that digital media have on both arenas – it's become a creative playground for all disciplines. I wish Simon well in his electric year.”
