The YoungGuns 2005 Winners and Finalists Traveling Exhibition, a showcase of the best of the world's emerging and young creative talent, is coming to Johannesburg on Thursday, 25 May 2006, to be hosted by Velocity Films and Freshwater Films.
"It is relevant, and hugely encouraging, that younger creatives are leading the way... Some fantastic talent is out there, in all parts of the world, pushing advertising into new areas and blurring the lines between medias," says Andy Fackrell, co-ECD of 180 Amsterdam and 2005 YG Award jury chairman
The 2005 Winners and Finalists Exhibition is part of the YG Award commitment to the development of emerging young creative talent by ensuring their global peers and potential employers see their work.
YoungGuns was created in the year 2000 just for young global talent, new ideas and perspectives; other industry awards are forums for the established. Its focus is on the individual and entry restricted to those under 30.
