ABC Ulwazi picked by Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund

Johannesburg-based radio training and production house, ABC Ulwazi, are fast positioning themselves as the leaders in children's radio in Southern Africa. The small NGO, recently awarded the ACIA award for best training SMME in Africa, has just received a commission from the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund for the development of a children's drama series for a South African Youth audience.

Hot on the heels of their tremendous success with the children's series "A friend for life" and "Khuluma Ukhululeke", "The Magic Circle" will be one of the most ambitious children's programmes attempted – a 30 part series of ten-minute episodes, involving 50 community radio stations, community-based listeners' clubs and children from the Fund's various projects.
