Senior JAVA Salesforce Developer - Sandton (Hybrid) – R1.6m PA

Technical Skills:

• Salesforce financial services cloud
• Java development experience
• Apex, lightning web components (LWC) and salesforce flow
• REST/SOAP APIs, platform events and change data capture
• Salesforce DX, CLI and source-driven development and deployment pipelines

Experience and requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience, with meaningful salesforce platform exposure
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• Experience designing and delivering complex salesforce solutions end-to-end
• Ability to lead salesforce architecture, make technical decisions and explain them to engineers, architects and business stakeholders
• Experience in regulated or financial services environments is advantageous
• Passion for mentoring developers and driving engineering standards and best practices

Key responsibilities:

• Lead architectural decisions and enhance the salesforce insurance platform
• Develop policy lifecycle management, claims processing and client relationship management capabilities
• Integrate policy administration, claims intake, adjudication and payment processing systems
• Build and maintain complex Apex logic, LWC and salesforce flows
• Ensure platform scalability and reliability as the business grows
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers
• Evaluate and introduce Salesforce capabilities to advance the platform
