Junior Graphic Designer

A well-established and respected printing company based in the Sandton area is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join their growing studio team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior designer looking to build a long-term career within the printing and visual communications industry. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced designers and production teams, gaining valuable exposure to print production, branding, packaging, promotional material, and large-format design execution.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of artwork for brochures, flyers, packaging, promotional items, and other printed material
• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers on client briefs and project requirements
• Prepare artwork accurately according to print specifications and production standards
• Amend and update artwork based on client and internal feedback
• Ensure consistency across brand identities and visual communication projects
• Liaise with print production teams to ensure quality and accuracy of final output
• Maintain organised design files, templates, and artwork libraries

Minimum requirements

• Qualification in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field advantageous
• Proficiency in Adobe creative suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Basic understanding of print production and printing processes
• Strong typography, layout, and visual communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A portfolio showcasing creative and print-based design work is essential
