Draughtsman

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Draughtsman to join our dynamic design and production team. Working closely with our team and clients, you will be responsible for translating premium design concepts into precise, manufacturing-ready technical drawings. You will play a critical role in bringing our shopfitting projects, custom retail fixtures, and expo stands to life.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate and highly detailed technical drawings, production schematics, and 3D wireframe models using AutoCAD.
  

• Draft manufacturing plans for a variety of retail elements, including Free Standing Units (FSUs), center court activations, and permanent boutique fixtures.
  

• Design and detail the integration of diverse materials—including custom metalwork, glass, acrylics, and specialized lighting systems—into seamless finished units.
  

• Collaborate with the design, print, and production teams to ensure all technical specifications meet our exact standards for luxury retail environments.
  

• Specify hardware, joining methods, and structural requirements across various manufacturing processes (joinery, metal fabrication, and vinyl application).
  

• Provide clear assembly, layout, and installation guides for our on-site teams.
  

• Review and refine technical details to ensure structural integrity and flawless premium finishing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical draughtsman, specifically within the shopfitting, retail design, or exhibition industries.
  

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and related CAD software.
  

• Comprehensive knowledge of material behaviors and manufacturing processes, with specific expertise in detailing metal, glass, and integrated lighting components.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong understanding of luxury brand standards and finishes.
  

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
  

• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical execution.
