E-commerce and Studio Photographer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce and Studio Photographer to join our production team.

The predominant focus of this role is managing high-output e-commerce product photography using automated workflows, alongside shooting our regular in-house, on-model e-commerce catalogue sessions for website uploads.

What you'll do

• On-model E-com shoots: Lead regular in-house studio sessions with live models (adults and children), capturing seasonal apparel and fashion products efficiently for direct website integration.
• E-commerce product photography: Execute high-quality product, jewellery, and flat-lay imagery for multiple brands utilizing our automated OrbitVu and StyleShoots ecosystems.
• Studio versatility: Utilize studio automation tech to assist with or execute ghost mannequin and flat-lay imagery when required by the workflow.
• Advanced studio tech operation: Work efficiently within a high-output environment utilizing automated hardware interfaces alongside Canon and Apple platforms.
• Brand compliance: Collaborate closely with stylists to deliver catalogue imagery that adheres strictly to client style guides and brand criteria.
• Asset handling: Maintain sharp organization across file-naming conventions, metadata tagging, and basic digital asset delivery pipelines.

Hours and flexibility

• This is a standard studio operating role, but candidates must be flexible with their schedule. Weekend work or extended hours may occasionally be requested depending on peak client volumes and production deadlines.

Requirements

Who you are

• Experienced: At least 2 years of experience focused on professional e-commerce studio photography or high-volume commercial studios.
• Versatile portfolio: A strong portfolio highlighting clean product, flat-lay, mannequin, or fashion/on-model studio work is essential.
• Tech-comfortable: Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Lightroom) and highly adaptive to learning and mastering automated studio hardware interfaces.
• Detail and speed driven: Thrive in a fast-paced environment while preserving output consistency and sharp quality control.
• Education (advantageous): A degree or diploma in photography or visual communications is a plus.
• Design and video capturing and editing skills (advantageous)
