Cereal milk might sound like an odd thing to order at a coffee shop, but the idea is simple: take the sweet, cereal-infused milk left behind after breakfast and turn it into a treat.
The trend has inspired everything from desserts to drinks, and Vida is getting in on it with a new range of Cereal Milk beverages and a Cereal Milk Cookie. It’s a playful take on a childhood ritual, and a reminder that food trends can get pretty unexpected.
Beyond cereal milk, Vida’s summer drinks include the Revive Granadilla Frio, which combines granadilla flavour with electrolytes, and the Red Bull Citrus Surge Frio, made with lemon, strawberry and Red Bull Energy Drink.
Coffee drinkers can also add whey protein to a wider selection of hot and iced coffees.
The food menu features a Chicken Phyllo Parcel alongside the existing Spanakopita, as well as a Fold-Over Pizza Pocket. Two new bakery options, a Breakfast Muffin and a Blueberry Lemon Poppyseed Muffin, round out the additions.
While the menu covers everything from quick savoury bites to protein coffee, cereal milk is the standout for its sheer novelty. After all, who knew the best part of finishing a bowl of cereal could become a café order?
