Cape Town desalination plans delayed while water demand soars

The move represents a natural category expansion for a brand built around comfort. Rather than moving away from its sleepwear roots, N3YH is taking the same focus on relaxed, comfortable dressing into more parts of the day.
For men, the collection includes relaxed T-shirts, shorts and long lounge pants in Olive, Black, Stone and White.
The pieces are designed for slow mornings and weekends at home, but also for working from home, travelling, watching the game or making a quick trip to the shops — occasions where comfort is important but pyjamas may not quite fit the brief.
The collection also marks N3YH's first entry into menswear, broadening its customer base while maintaining the brand's straightforward approach to design.
Rather than overcomplicating the offering, the men's range focuses on clean silhouettes and neutral colours that can be worn as matching sets or combined with existing wardrobe staples.
The women's collection follows the same philosophy, with a new ribbed range comprising long-sleeve tops and long lounge pants.
Available in Stone, Black, Olive and Bubblegum Pink, the pieces can be worn together as a coordinated set or separately, giving customers greater flexibility across different occasions.
Both the men's and women's collections are made from bamboo fabric.

Lightweight and breathable, bamboo fabric can help regulate temperature and wick moisture away from the skin. Its soft feel also lends itself to garments intended to be worn comfortably for extended periods.
The launch comes as the distinction between sleepwear, loungewear and casual clothing continues to blur. Consumers increasingly move between home, work, travel and social settings without necessarily changing into distinctly different categories of clothing for each part of the day.
A pair of lounge pants can move from breakfast to a home office and a quick coffee run, while a comfortable T-shirt or matching set can work across multiple settings.
For N3YH, that shift creates room to expand its proposition without moving too far from what customers already associate with the brand.
The leisurewear launch gives N3YH an opportunity to occupy more of the everyday wardrobe while retaining comfort as its central proposition.
It also introduces the brand to a new customer segment through its first dedicated men's offering, while giving its existing female customer base additional ways to wear N3YH beyond bedtime.

The strategy reflects a wider move among fashion and lifestyle brands to build collections around how consumers actually live, rather than rigidly defined occasions.
For N3YH, the opportunity is relatively simple: if consumers already want to stay comfortable for longer, the clothes they change into after getting out of bed should not necessarily feel very different from what they were wearing before.
The N3YH Leisurewear Collection is now available in-store and online.
