Prior to holding this post, she was the Project Coordinator at SARN and the Study Circle/Reflect Projects Coordinator and Facilitator/Trainer on the Leadership Programme at IDASA, where she worked for twelve years.
Yoemna has worked in development sector for the past eighteen years. She has extensive experience in facilitation and training; adult education and youth development in urban, semi urban and rural communities in South Africa; Integrated Development Planning for Municipalities, organisational interventions and evaluation; grant making, monitoring and evaluation, projects budget tracking, writing funding proposals, reporting, donor relations, project management and mentoring.
Yoemna holds an Honours Degree in Adult Education and Training and is a qualified Reflect Trainer for Community Based Organisations (CBOs) and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
