• Acted as Principal Conductor of school choirs and orchestras, managing large scale events (often exceeding 300 people), fundraiser concerts and productions, drawing up comprehensive budgets, co-ordinating teams and overseeing the successful completion of the events.
• Co-ordinated Subject Music (equivalent to A-levels) across the campus at St Stithians
• Excellent working relationship established with Head of St Stithians Preparatory School Music Department
• Managed budget of R2 mil
• Managed 26 peripatetic members of music department staff, helping to draw up timetables and administer distribution of instruments
• To control all entries and finances for international and local external examinations e.g. Royal Schools, Trinity, UNISA etc.
• 20 years as organist for Chapel and other High Services
• 32 years of primary, secondary school and tertiary music teaching, including history, theory and counterpoint. Able to relate excellently to all age level groups
• 25 years of choral and orchestral conducting experience in schools and in the community
• 45 years as a recognised concert pianist, organist and private piano and theory tutor
• 45 years as a double bass player in orchestras and chamber ensembles
